Particle Pong is finally finished!

Hey there, as the title says, I’ve just finished the first project of my computer science course. We assignement was to make a pong clone, and we did. And it has particles in it!

It actually took quite a while to develop it, because we started a bit early and had lots of time to add extra features.

It is developed in C# XNA v3.1, so if you want to play the game, you’ll have to install the xna framework. And will need Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher to run it.

You can download the framework click here!

Furthermore, you’ll probably want to download the game too. Click here!

There is a chance you’ll need the .NET framework install this if the game doesn’t work after installing the XNA framework or if the XNA framework doesn’t want to install.

I’ll publish the source code in the next few days.

Update: Totally forgot to publish the source code: Here you go!

It should compile right away using VS2008 or Visual C# 2008 express. With XNA game studio 3.1.

I do not own the rights for the sounds and other assets, so don’t republish it.

Just use it for educational purposes only : )

Thanks, Nikola, for reminding me.

Have fun playing!

And make sure you turn on the sound, there is a sweet homemade soundtrack by Vincent Bin!
